We are currently recruiting for a bright and ambitious apprentice/trainee Alloy Wheel Technician to work in our state-of-the-art KIA/Ford body shop.

  • Full, clean Irish or EU driving licence is essential

 

 


Responsibilities:

 

 

 

  • Greet customers when they arrive and take thorough report of customer requirements
  • Assist in carrying out repairs on alloy wheels after completing a comprehensive on the job trainig period.
  • Maintain clean, professional and safe working environment
  • Maintain and clean tools and equipment as required
  • Carry out other work duties in line with business requirements
  • Prepare and maintain detailed logs of work carried out on vehicles
  • Experience in the smart repair industry would be an advantage but not essential
  • A full clean driving licence and polite demeanor is essential.

The successful candidate will have a keen interest in motor vehicles and it is essential that you have a minimum grade achieved in English, Maths and a Science based subject. You will be enthusiastic, committed and confident with an analytical and methodical way of thinking.

 

 

 

it is paramount that you can demonstrate a high regard for customer care and professionalism and a willingness to commit to the apprenticeship/training period with a view to qualifying as an Alloy Wheel Technician and continuing your career within Joe Duffy Group whereby additional manufacturing training and development programs can be undertaken.
