Ensuring your Lotus is well cared for
It is always important to ensure that wear and tear items are maintained and that your vehicle stays in top condition. To help you ensure that key areas of your vehicle are performing as they should be, our Trained Technicians are on hand to perform a complimentary Health Check. At the end of this check you will be presented with a report classifying each item as being:
Tyres
We will check the thread depth of your tyres and advise you if your tyres need to be changed urgently, in the coming months, or are do not require attention at this time
Stopping Distances
The thread depth on your tyres plays a major role in the stopping distances of your vehicle particularly in wet conditions. Tyres with higher thread depths dramatically reduce the stopping distance of your car allowing you to bring your vehicle to a stop in a much shorter distance in the case of an emergency
Brake Pads
Your brake pads press against your brake discs and the resulting friction is what slows your vehicle down and brings it to a stop. Over time the brake pads wear away reducing their effectiveness at slowing and stopping your vehicle. During the Vehicle Health Check, our technicians will measure the thickness that remains in your brake pads and advise you if you need to change them.
