BMW Group maintains BEV growth path in challenging market situation in 2024
In 2024, the BMW Group continued its impressive growth, delivering 426,594 fully electric vehicles (BEVs) globally, marking a significant +13.5% increase in BEV sales. Both BMW and MINI brands recorded substantial double-digit growth, with BMW delivering 368,523 BEVs (+11.6%) and MINI delivering 56,181 BEVs (+24.3%) to customers. Rolls-Royce also contributed to this success, delivering 1,890 BEVs, representing an extraordinary growth rate of +479.6%. Notably, BMW achieved increased deliveries across all drivetrains in every region outside of China.
“The BMW Group is maintaining its growth trajectory for fully-electric vehicles, even in challenging market conditions,” said Jochen Goller, BMW AG Board Member responsible for Customer, Brands, and Sales. “This growth reflects not only significant BEV sales increases but also a clear rise in new orders in Europe. With our robust and expanded product line-up, we are confident in maintaining this momentum into 2025,” Goller added.
