The Revised Q7
Audi North Dublin and Audi Limerick are delighted to announce that Audi has once again upgraded the appearance and technology of its premium family SUV. With its redesigned front and back portions, the SUV's new look highlights its formidable nature. It provides exceptional versatility and room for up to seven people. The Q7's HD Matrix LED headlights, which are equipped with a laser as an extra high beam, are the first to use digital daytime running lights with customisable light signatures. The light offering is completed with four configurable rear light designs and digital OLED rear lights. The most adaptable SUV in the Q family gets even more customizability with new wheels, colours, ornamental inlays, and seats with contrasting stitching.
Powerful, spacious, elegant: Exterior
The new Q7 spectacularly displays its sturdy and elegant form with a second thorough upgrade in 2023, following the launch of the second generation with all-wheel steering in 2015 and an initial product upgrade in 2019. The biggest and most adaptable SUV in the four-ring brand's lineup, it showcases Audi's contemporary design aesthetic. With its remarkably enormous volume, spotless surfaces, and even more minimalist style, the Q7 is a symbol of versatility in any circumstance.
The Singleframe's unique colour design is sure to dazzle. The Audi Singleframe, side window trim, front and rear bumpers, and stunning accents are created in the exterior by the optional Black and Black Plus optical packages. The Q7 has an even more commanding appearance thanks to its newly designed headlights, which use HD Matrix LED technology with lasers as an extra beam light and digital daytime running lights that are mounted on the upper horizontal edge. When paired with the digital OLED rear lights—which are new for the Q7—the model's premium-class identity is made even more evident.
Customizability at its best: Headlights and rear lights
Audi North Dublin and Audi Limerick customers will be delighted to know that the Q7 comes equipped with standard high-intensity LED headlights, however matrix LED headlights are an option. There are also HD Matrix LED headlights that come with the Audi laser light. They each have a high-power laser diode and 24 LEDs, and their blue ambient light, which represents the accuracy of laser technology, makes them easily identifiable. Above 70 km/h (43.5 mph), the laser light becomes active, greatly extending the high beam range. Signatures for digital daytime running lights are new for the top-of-the-line headlights. By letting the user choose from four different light signatures using the MMI, they give the Q7 its distinctive and recognisable look. However, not just the headlights’ extended range of functions is new, so is their design. The higher position of the daytime running lights gives the Q7 a wider appearance and more expressiveness. For the first time, the Q7 also features largely digitalized OLED rear lights as an optional extra, which also feature four digital light signatures.
Additionally, the digital OLED rear lights, like those in the Audi A8, Q8, and Q5, offer a proximity indication feature that works in tandem with the assistance systems: The control units automatically turn on all of the digital OLED segments when other drivers get close to the stationary Q7 from behind, up to a distance of two metres (6.6 feet). Dynamic turn signals and different coming-home and going-away sequences that correspond with each digital light signature are further features.
New decors, colors, and wheels expand the equipment range
Three new finishes are available that allow customers to further personalize the Q7. For a particularly sporty appearance, the range of metallic finishes now includes Sakhir Gold, Ascari Blue, and Chili Red. But customers can look forward to more new features in more than just finishes: The wheel range offers a choice of five new 20” to 22” wheel designs. Black Metallic, Gray Silk Matte with glossy black inlays or diamond-cut Black Metallic are available for 21-inch wheels and larger.
Versatile and spacious: Interior
High status and everyday use are combined in the Audi Q7 and SQ7 TFSI1 five- and seven-seat models. Both cars offer an excellent, roomy atmosphere because to their ample length, headroom, and elbowroom in the front and back. The five-seat version's baggage compartment has a capacity of 867 litres with the backrests up to 1,993 litres with the backrests down, depending on how they are positioned. In addition to being electrically driven by default, the tailboard can also be activated with a foot motion. Additionally, Audi provides the rear seat plus option. This feature allows the length and back angle of all three seats to be individually adjusted, ensures enough space for three child seats at all times, and boasts a third row of two electrically folding seats.
Audi North Dublin and Audi Limerick are very excited to be receiving models later this year with the Global Launch scheduled for the first quarter of 2024.
