Rev Up 2024

Rev up 2024 - A ROARING  SUCESS

ANNOUNCEMENT: Rev up 2024 is now sold out. If you are interested in taking part - please fill out your details here and IF a space becomes available - the Rev Up Team will be in touch.

We are delighted to announce that Rev Up 2024 is starting as always from our Motorrad showroom in Charlestown. Last year, the sold out event saw some 40+ riders and pillions complete an epic 3 days of riding on some of Irelands best biking roads coving some 1,200km's around West Cork's beautiful Wild Altantic Way.

The 2024 run takes place May 4th - 6th and will be the 17th run since the event began!

The event works as a navigation exercise and a closely guarded secret until day 1 of the event where registered participants are given their secret co-ordinates at Joe Duffy Motorrad. You won;t know where you are going until the start of the first day!

Participants simply follow the route sheet provided and ride to the first checkpoint where they will then get the second set of directions and so on. This allows riders to leave when they want and ride at the pace they can enjoy and in a group they're happy to ride with.

Each participant has to raise a minimum of €750 (and €500 for a pillion) and that includes the following:

  • 1,000km mapped and scouted routes
  • Luggage transfers to/from start/finish points
  • Two nights accommodation in a four star hotel (breakfasts & dinners included)
  • Breakdown & recovery services for the weekend
  • Full support for the 3 days from Team RevUp

The run is always well attended and 2024 looks like it will be no different. Registration is open now and is limited to 50 bikes with or without pillions. The route is always kept a closely guarded secret with the details of how to get to the first checkpoint being given out at the dealership on the morning. At the first checkpoint details of the route to the second are given out and at the second the final stage which gets us to the hotel is supplied.

Rev Up Tips for a good Ride Out image

Rev Up Tips for a good Ride Out

  • Expect the unexpected – Follow the Rules. Being stopped for speeding wastes time, earns penalty points & costs money.
  • Avoid travelling in large groups.
  • Pinpoint navigation, not high speeds!
  • Arrive early! Leave early! Avoid night-time travel!
  • Start early each morning!
  • Don’t waste time at or between CPs!

Please adhere to any additional instructions given to you from event co-ordinators while on the event.
